Diver Training

Dive training is a key element in anyone’s dive career to further your knowledge and expertise. As much as that is true. Training alone can not take the place of experience nor can experience take the place of formal training. It takes a good healthy dose of both to make a competent diver. In that same light, it also takes a competent instructor that can offer you the expertise and practical experience in the field in which you are seeking training. Without that, you’re just buying a certification card, and most likely getting short-changed.

Dan Crowell is the former skipper of the dive boat that he made legendary, “SEEKER” and a pioneer of the early days of technical diving in the northeast. Dan has used and dived just about every type of dive equipment imaginable, ranging from a double hose regulator fitted to a single 72 to the most advanced modern day closed circuit mixed gas rebreathers as well as commercial hard hat rigs. He has spent thousands of hours underwater performing commercial work, shooting video for broadcast TV, instructional dives, and just having fun. He is one of only a handful of instructors that can draw from such a vast and unique experience base to pass along to his students. If you’re looking for the best training, go with experience.
